How We Got Started

Munky Bizniz was founded in January 2005 by Mark Villena and Punky Dario. The partnership is focused on fostering relations between the two co-founders through friendship, music, art, fashion, commerce, cats, brewed coffee, vacations and shared daydreams.

During its six years (and counting) of experience, Munky Bizniz has weathered many challenges. However, through therapy, conversation, humor and attempts to take themselves a little less seriously, Munky Bizniz has proven its stability and commitment towards further improvement as the partnership looks forward to future challenges.

The business continues to grow stronger as the co-founders take on the next big step in their enterprise: the signing of a lifetime contract on December 18, 2011, officially launching Munky Bizniz as a permanent partnership.

The SAGING Seal of Approval

Munky Bizniz is built on six brand pillars: SAGING. Everything we offer has the SAGING seal, assuring that you get the 100% SAGING experience every time.

Silly

Yes, it’s okay to laugh at yourself.  Munky Bizniz has had its shares of difficulties, of pain, of doubt and anger, but sometimes, laughing at ourselves is all we need. Life is hard enough that it can be a challenge to lighten up but God knows, we try.

Adventurous

..And yes we will try anything only once, unless we really like it, like say, crocodile meat. We believe in adventure, however big or small.

Gutumin

We believe in the constant hunger for experience and knowledge through any means: conversation, observation, film, fantasy… We don’t believe that there is such a thing as a saturation point. The more we know, the more we don’t know.

Innovative

We would like to always give you something different, something unique even if we’re not the most unique people we know.

No-nonsense

Straightforwardness isn’t always easy to take but we try our best to be upfront in our opinions and our emotions.

Galing

We believe in giving a pat on one’s back and on each other, saying “Ang galing mo!” Sometimes, validation is all you need to keep moving on.
